Rainbow River Walk

When?

Wednesday 11th June 2025. Starting at 6pm, we expect to finish at around 8.30pm.

Where?

Meet at the bottom of the High Street, near Snap fitness. We will walk through the underpass by Drakes to the river and along the river northwards to the Malta.

What?

Come and celebrate our diversity by appreciating the biodiversity of the River Medway with river experts from the Environment Agency, the local LGBTQ+ community and allies. Lace up your rainbow walking shoes to walk for around 1 hour along gentle tarmacked paths (fully accesible for buggies and wheelchairs). Fascinating Medway river facts will be in abundance. We will pause for refreshments at the Malta public house (refreshments not included) before walking back to the starting point at a slightly faster pace. Let’s celebrate diversity and biodiversity together!
